pierce my ear-drums whoeveritis - casablanca

it has been a britney spears' night. was at carrefour before and they were playing britneys cd. then, miraculously on the BUS home, there was a kid performing a britney spears number on tvmobile. oh, nevermind.

i think it is simply amazing how i can feel alienated and yet pleased at the same time. i caught 2 simplyhilarious movies over these 2days and i have to say, i have never had a better movie-watching weekend. a little review would be as follows:

asterix and obelix ...a french comedy that emphasised on the namecalling jokes and pop-culture(read: star wars) references. instances are an Egyptian named gimmeakis(read out loud to get joke), a roman by the name of antivirus and asterix's name gettin mixed up with the likes of lennykravix and brucewillx. may not seem funny when exemplified with the written word but do catch it to get all the jokes. i certainly enjoyed trying to stay on the chair.

around the world in youknowhowmany days was much, much better than i expected. to say it was funny would not do it any justice. i was pretty reluctant about watching this and i dismissed the 'selling fast' sight as, "its only 'cause theres nothing much to watch." i loved the little parts where it was all magical and shit. i like the way they arranged the cameos; slotted in very cleverly. i especially loved the cameo by daniel wu. heres one who resembles a more effiminate edison chen. HAWT still. :) also saw owen and luke wilson as the wright brothers. HA. oh i could go on forever. its all so laugh-inducing. but u cant really go wrong when your plot is based on an old tale, right? and i like it so much i will get the video when its out.

apart from the fact that its a jap anime, i know little about intial d. but of course i know that you know(you dont? well now you do!) that the leads are so gonna be jay chou and edison chen! how can u go wrong??? wide grin* i am so going to catch this one!

after the next week which is fast approaching, it is going to be a new month. i cant wait. june has been horrible. what with toomany people around town and all.

i had too much ice-cream again today. i...must...not...let...ice-cream consuming take over me. NO. ooh my haagen daaz, i am coming.
