hey hey hey!
finally! some time to write/ blog/ whatever.
last night was another formal dinner: the Winter Dinner,
which is quite like an early xmas dinner.
we had the crackers, wine, turkey and the sauce to go with it.
oh jacchoo! rmbr last year's xmas lunch?
we had all that jazz too and ended up having the most filling lunch we will ever have.
i missed you last night, upon seeing the crackers. x)
so, in spirit of formal dinners,
we had pre-dinner drinks (which i was late for, trying to stitch some stupid hole in my dress), generally good food and The Guest Speaker.
as he was going on about idontknowwhat, i kept wishing he would hurrythefuckup because mel nain and me were in a rush.
we wanted to get some good food yet we had to run down to the Princess Theatre for
Dirty Dancing the Musical, which was scheduled to start at 8.
we called a cab for 7.40 and we finally ran out of dinner at maybe 7.45 but surprise, surprise.
no cab.
we were in such a fluster and nain dropped her purse in our pursuit for a cab and we were running the whole time,
ate our turkey in the taxi and yada yada.
it was eventful.
i dont really like (law and) order.

after
Dirty Dancing, we went down to Puggs cos everyone was there and so was sonia.
so yep.
more drinks!
it would have been boring if i didnt have so many people to talk to.
quite a handful didnt feel like dancing,
and we just chilled at the back.
when i finally decided to dance,
they played like 3 songs and then it was "closing time".
1A.M!!!!
who the heck closes at 1am??
